RUSSAFA Football Shirt

BARRIS FC: Limited edition of 6 Football shirts from the historic districts of Valencia.

The façade of the Mercat inspires it, and more specifically, the corner where the blue and orange colour palettes converge. The coat of arms includes a fountain and a crescent moon, based on its origins as an Andalusian pleasure garden.

On the back is a fan of hooks. Russafa was known as ‘la terra del ganxo’ (the land of the hook), the working tool of the hook-makers who brought wood down the river Turia and lived in the neighbourhood. The hook is still present in several of today’s symbols.
